We design Mother's Day in two waves. The first wave is the pre-orders we receive in the two weeks leading up to the holiday — these get our designers' full attention and the strongest pick of the week's flower delivery (peonies, garden roses, ranunculus, locally grown tulips when in season). The second wave is Saturday morning walk-ins and Saturday-afternoon same-day phone orders — we run a tight, designer-on-bench operation through Saturday and Sunday morning.
Sunday morning delivery is our most-requested window. We start the route at 7:00 am and we cap the number of Sunday slots at the number of arrangements our drivers can deliver in time for brunch. Pre-order by the Wednesday before Mother's Day to lock in a Sunday-morning slot.
For a mother in a retirement community, long-term care facility or care home, tell us the facility name when you order. We have established protocols at every Kitchener care facility and we follow each home's visitor guidance on delivery. The arrangement reaches her room — we are unfailingly careful about that.
