Hospital delivery · Grand River Hospital

Same-day flower delivery to Grand River Hospital — both campuses.

Cameron's delivers to Grand River Hospital nearly every business day. We call the unit before we dispatch, follow the visitor protocols, and place the arrangement in the patient's room when the floor permits.

A Cameron's Flower Shop get-well arrangement, designed for hospital delivery

How a delivery to Grand River Hospital actually works.

Tell us the patient's name and the campus. If you know the unit (4-East, ICU, palliative care, surgical recovery), tell us. We will call the floor first to confirm the patient is on-site and that the unit accepts fresh flowers. If the unit restricts fresh flowers, we will phone you back within ten minutes with a permitted alternative — typically a dish garden, succulent, or balloon arrangement, with no upcharge.

Once cleared, our driver carries the arrangement to the unit, leaves the wrapping at the desk, and places the flowers on the patient's table whenever the staff allow it. The card is hand-written. We do not leave a price tag on the gift.

For families calling from out of province, we will follow up with a text or email once the delivery is complete so you know the flowers are with your loved one.

Get-well arrangements designed for hospital rooms.

Compact footprints, lower-allergen palettes, low-water vessels — every Cameron's get-well arrangement is built with the hospital room in mind.

Reviews from hospital deliveries.

My sister was admitted at Grand River and I live in Calgary. Cameron's took the order, asked which unit, asked if she had allergies, called the floor to confirm she could receive flowers, and delivered the same afternoon. They thought of things I didn't.

Hospital delivery — Grand River Hospital

My aunt is at Sunnyside. Cameron's knew the facility, knew the front desk, and made sure she got the flowers in her room within hours. Their relationship with these places is real, not marketing.

Frequently asked.

Will Grand River Hospital allow flowers in the patient's room?
Most general medical and surgical units accept fresh flowers. The ICU, oncology, dialysis and certain transplant units restrict fresh flowers due to immunocompromised patients. We will call the unit before we dispatch and tell you immediately if there is a restriction — and we will recommend an alternative (succulents, dish gardens or a balloon arrangement) that is permitted.
Do I need the patient's room number?
Not necessarily. We can deliver to the front desk and the unit will route the arrangement to the patient's room. If you do know the unit (e.g. 4-East, ICU, palliative), tell us — it speeds up the floor confirmation.
Can you deliver to the Freeport campus in Waterloo?
Yes. Grand River Hospital operates the King Street campus in Kitchener and the Freeport campus on King Street North in Waterloo. We deliver to both same-day. Tell us which campus when you order.
What's the same-day cutoff for hospital delivery?
Order before 1:00 pm Monday through Saturday for same-day delivery. Most morning orders are at the hospital within two to four hours.
Can I send a low-allergen arrangement?
Yes. Tell us when you call. Low-allergen options include alstroemeria, chrysanthemums, dish gardens, succulents and orchids. We avoid lilies, stargazer and other high-fragrance flowers when requested. There is no upcharge for an allergy-aware substitution.
